Mi intención es recopilar lo más importante sobre esta pieza, que para mí es de las más atractivas que se han editado.<My intention is to compile the most important thing on this piece, which for me is of more attractive than they have edited.> 

Este archi-conocido diseño no podía faltar entre mis favoritos “Clásicos del diseño”, creo que fue de las primeras piezas que conocí, gracias a ella me interesé más en este mundo del mobiliario del s.xx.< This design could not be absent inside my favorites " Classic of the design ", I believe that it was of the first pieces that I knew. For this reason I was interested more in furniture of the century xx.>

Tanto me gustó, que me hice con una réplica en cuanto pude (os hablaré de ella).

Y aunque creo que pocos sois los que no la conocéis, os cuento lo principal:< So much I liked, that I acquired a reply in all that I could (I will speak to you about her). And though I believe that few ones you are that you do not know her, I explain the principal thing to you:>

La creó el arquitecto Mies Van der Rohe para la Exposición internacional de Barcelona en 1929. El diseño, junto con otras dos piezas más, se concibe dentro del proyecto del Pabellón de Barcelona, que es una de las obras emblemáticas del arquitecto de origen alemán. < It was created by the architect Mies Van der Rohe for the international Exhibition of Barcelona in 1929. The design, together with other two more pieces, is conceived inside the project of the Pavilion of Barcelona, which is one of the emblematic works of the architect of German origin.>

Hoy día, como en casi todo, hay réplicas de materiales, texturas y colores varios; la original se concibe con estructura de acero cromado y amortiguadores y revestimiento de almohadones en piel. < Today, there are replies of materials, textures and different colors; the original one is conceived by structure of steel and absorbers and coating pillow in skin.>

Desde su creación, muchos arquitectos la integran en el interior de sus obras, y no menos interioristas, decoradores y artistas la utilizan como recurso estilístico en sus obras y proyectos.< From their creation, many architects integrate it inside his works, and not fewer interioristas, interior decorators and artists use it as stylistic resource in his works and projects.>

No solo se han realizado réplicas o, “copias autorizadas”, también existen muchos modelos totalmente inspirados en ella. (dedicaré un post a estos, muy interesantes…)< Replies  or " authorized copies " have been made, but also there exist many models totally inspired by her. (I will dedicate a post to these, very interesting …)>
